The police arrested Tawfiq Ibn Mannan Tuhin (40), the organizing secretary of the district Awami Volunteer League, in a raid in Mymensingh.
He was arrested in the case of vandalizing BNP office from Sehra DB Road area on Tuesday (February 04) afternoon.
Ward councilor No. 16 of Tuhin City Corporation was arrested. Son of Abdul Mannan.
Mymensingh Kotwali Model Police Station OC Shafiqul Islam Khan confirmed the arrest.
He told Kalbela that Tawfiq Ibn Mannan Tuhin was arrested from his own house during the raid. He has been handed over to the court.
